If you’re looking for family fun in Fort Walton Beach this summer, come down to Uptown Station. In the heart of Fort Walton Beach and referred to as the heartbeat of the Emerald Coast, Uptown Station has something for the entire family.

For the first time in Fort Walton Beach and in conjunction with Legendary Marine, Uptown Station presents: Boat Show Weekend. Displaying enough boats to fill a whole harbor all in the parking lot of the new office building at Uptown Station. Boats for sale, boats to view, and a boat load of activities! Enjoy live music, the finals of the Emerald Coast Legends talent contest, and Movie Night on the Big Screen in Central Park.
Uptown Station presents Movie Night every second and fourth Saturday of the month. Re-live the old time drive-in movie experience at Uptown Station’s Central Park. An entertaining family movie is played at 8:30pm on a giant 30’ inflatable movie screen - the only one on the Emerald Coast. You can bring lawn chairs and blankets or sit in your car and tune in to FM 106.9 to listen to the soundtrack. To complete the experience there will be concession stands serving up theatre favorites before, during, and after the movie.
Uptown Station kicks-off Independence Day with the Flag Raising Ceremony on July 2nd. The 170’ flagpole is located in Central Park in the center of Uptown Station on Eglin Parkway. The ceremony begins at 12 noon when the 50’by 80’ Flag is walked in silence down the length of Central Park by the Honor Guard and then hoisted. Commemorate Independence Day with Florida’s tallest flagpole.
